Bienvenue!

We are a family run business owned and run by us Lottie & Jean-Marc. After thirty years of living in London, and with more years behind than in front of us, we decided to relocate to the south of France and to be closer to nature. We bought La Fesaye in Ardèche and are proud custodians of the former chestnut farm and small holding.

Together we dreamed of living a life slower and more connected to the planet. We are interested in sharing these beautiful grounds to inspire others and to build a community that sees value in living a life that is sustainable for people and for the planet.

Jean-Marc from the Languedoc in France originally worked as a photographer and creative arts educator. Liselotte (Lottie) was born in the Netherlands and worked in London as a freelance chef and running her own successful food business.

With their new business Margot, they use their experiences to join the dots between positive climate action, and hospitality. They like to share their philosophy around local economy, less waste & landfill in the everyday life and aspect of a small-and-beautiful business.

Our front-of-house team is brought together especially to meet the individual requirements of each curated occasion.  We work with a fantastic team of people from the local community of Burzet, who each in turn, love what they do.

Sharing is good and we work with other local fantastic hosts, small businesses in the village of Burzet to organise larger groups and/or host people with mobility or other specific requirements
